Turn the map into a route
- Bring up the map and identify the surrounding room and corridors.
- Locate Barry or the teammate you are trying to reach.
- Compare the nearby layout with the doorway or corridor in front of you.
- Move to the next recognizable junction, then check again if the route becomes unclear.

The map is shown lowered in the image. Follow the raise/lower prompt in your current controls to bring it into view. Avoid guessing a keyboard shortcut from a video recorded with a different control setup.
Use it to bring the group back together
The map’s teammate information is useful when the party has split up to collect loot. Pick a shared destination, then tell the group whether you are returning to Barry or meeting at an intermediate room. A visible teammate does not by itself explain which corridor connects you.
If one player has the map, that player can describe the next part of the route while others compare it with the room they are in. Keep directions tied to visible features rather than a chain of unexplained left and right turns.
Keep glowsticks in the plan
The changing layout makes a memorized universal route unreliable. Glowsticks can preserve a physical trail while Sketch-A-Map helps you understand the local overhead layout. Use both for a confusing return trip instead of treating one map glance as a reason to stop marking junctions.
A fixed spawn location, purchase price, or charge limit for Sketch-A-Map is not confirmed here. Check the item’s actual in-game description before planning around those details.
